Shrimp in Tequila Sauce

1 lb   

large shrimp, peeled and deveined

 

 
  Sauce  
1/4 cup    tequila  
2 Tbs    freshly squeezed lime juice  
2 Tbs    olive oil  
1   fresh jalapeno pepper, minced (remove the veins and the seeds if you like less heat)  
2   garlic cloves, minced  
1/4 tsp    ground cumin  
 
1 Whisk together the sauce ingredients.
2 Heat sauce in a large skillet over medium high heat until simmering.
3 Add shrimp; cook just until they are pink and opaque,about 3 minutes per side.
